jack links chicken bites rezept recipe outdoor hiking wandern trekkingBeef Jerky and similar products are very convenient trekking snacks and many outdoor people carry a bag of dried meat with them.

This circumstance and the fact that this stuff is really tasty, inspired us to create a recipe that contains dried chicken bites: Our Indian style „Chicken Bites Curry“…

  • Stove
  • Two Saucepans and a pot cozy

Ingredients (per serving)

  • 100g long grain rice
  • 125g yoghurt
  • 75g Jack Link’s Chicken Bites Curry (one big bag)
  • 1 small red onion
  • 1 garlic chive
  • 1 small chili
  • lots of your preferred curry spice blend
  • some salt
  • some (peanut) oil for stir-frying

Bring rice and twice the amount of salted water to a boil. Then put the hot saucepan in a pot cozy (respectively isolating bag) and let the rice sit for aprox. 20 minutes.

In the meantime chop the onion, garlic and chili pepper and stir-fry this ingredients until the onion get glassy. (keep some chili as a topping for the meal) Then add the Chicken Bites, some salt and the curry. Reduce the heat and keep stir-frying for some minutes until the Chicken Bites are warm. Your meal is almost ready now: Just add the yoghurt, mix everything together quickly and take your saucepan off the stove. Let rest for 2 minutes, then your curry is ready.
